Recent highlights of the Litigation Department's Sports Law practice include:
- Advised Red Sox front office with Senator Mitchell's investigation of the illegal use of performance enhancing substances in baseball.
- Advised the University of Miami in connection with its decision to withdraw from the Big East Conference and join the Atlantic Coast Conference.
- Successfully represented the Boston Red Sox in a trial over the right of a bankruptcy trustee to auction Red Sox season tickets.
- Advised Reebok concerning its rights under the terms of a license agreement to manufacture goods with Major League Baseball team logos.
